Tyler Wilke

McHenry County Republican Party Chairman

Mr. Wilke is a lifelong resident of McHenry County. He graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. in Political Economy from Hillsdale College and attended law school at Drake University, graduating Cum Laude in 2018. Tyler was admitted to the Illinois Bar in the spring of 2019.


Tyler is a member of the American Agricultural Law Association, Illinois Farm Bureau, and a McHenry County Fair Board Member. He is also a University of Illinois Extension Council Advisory Member for Unit 3, and member of the Illinois Drainage District Association, amongst other involvement with agricultural production. When Tyler isn’t at the firm, he continues to farm with his family in McHenry County.

Karen Tirio

McHenry County Republican Party


A resident of McHenry County for 42 years. Karen has owned and operated 4 small businesses since she was 18 yrs old. Since 2009, Karen and her husband have owned award winning Monarch Senior Care, a service that cares for Senior and Veterans helping them live independent lives in the comfort of their own homes. The Tirio's had their own radio show on local Star 105.5. They've volunteered within the community from the Toys for Tots to Bug's Brigade. In March 2017, Karen hosted one of the first Spirit of America Rallies in support of President Donald J. Trump in IL and it drew attendance of over 500 people (and 300 protesters) from multiple counties. She bought out a Theater for the Movie 'Unplanned' and raised over $600 for 1st Way Life Center of McHenry County. Previously holding elected non-paid elected positions of Precinct Committeeman, Dorr Township GOP Chairman, McHenry County College Board of Trustees she currently is still volunteering in the elected position of McHenry County Republican Central Committee as Secretary. She is also currently President of McHenry County GOPac - County Conservatives.  Interests are gardening, vintage Volkswagens, animals, rock planting and photo-bombing.

Tim Beck

McHenry County Republican Party


Tim grew up on a dairy farm in north-central Iowa.  He graduated from high school with a class of 49 students, and then graduated from Drake University with a degree in accounting and became a CPA.  Upon graduation, he joined the audit practice of Arthur Andersen in their Chicago office.  Five years later, he transferred to the firm’s world headquarters office, where he held a number of senior financial roles.  He retired from Andersen in 2002 and joined a small CPA firm in Libertyville and became a part-time Controller / CFO for several of the firm’s small business clients.  He is currently a part-time employee of two companies - a manufacturer in Woodstock and a technology company in Schaumburg.  Tim and his wife, Dyanne, moved to McHenry in 2003.  Their daughter, son-in-law, and two granddaughters live in Northbrook.
