Who We Are
McHenry County, formed in 1836, has traditionally been a strong Republican county. Other than the 2008 Presidential election, McHenry County has voted Republican in every Presidential election since 1948.
Our Republican roots run strong and deep. We are committed to preserving and protecting our land, and to fiscal responsibility, transparency, smaller government, and lower taxes.
We proudly stand together holding the line against government intrusion into our homes and schools. It is our duty to protect our freedoms and liberties and we will do so one victory at a time.
The McHenry County Republican Party’s leadership is committed to success and will do so by filling every precinct with strong Republicans, educating local and state leaders on conservative Republican issues, bringing unity to the Party by including all Republicans in decision making at the local level and by increasing voter turnout in elections ensuring strong Republican victories.
This is not a party of one, but rather an army of many who are fed up with reckless government spending. We refuse to stand by while the government takes over our personal right to decide what is best for our own life. We need to elect strong conservative Republicans at all levels of government.
Some have given up on our state government and moved out of Illinois. This is unacceptable. This is our state and our country and we will take it back starting right here in our own backyards.
Exciting positive change is coming with new and familiar energetic Republicans! McHenry County Republican Party is committed to providing all with the resources and tools for success in bringing back our conservative values to McHenry County.
God Bless McHenry County and God Bless the United States of America!
