While there are several races on the ballot for the April 4, 2023 Consolidated Election, we are listing ONLY the races where there is a contested race and we have a recommendation.  These are only recommendations, not endorsements.  The candidates recommended by the McHenry County Republican Party are indicated with a filled circle shown in the races below.  Please note, there are races where we recommend candidates NOT be elected.  Those names are struck out.  Remember, it is perfectly acceptable to vote for ONLY the candidates you prefer - you do not have to vote for the number indicated, e.g., when it says "vote for three" you can vote for 1, 2 or none.
